The bid forms received are sifted and checked for eligibility, completeness, neatness, presentation, clarity and creativity.

The short listed bid forms are then submitted to a panel of 2 to 4 judges for independent evaluation.
No judge is privy to the assessment given by another judge.

Step # 4:
From each district the top five mark scorers are invited for an interview by a second panel of judges.
The marks assigned by each panel members is confidential and the totals are done after the interviews.

The top two scorers from the district are designated as the District Winner and the District Runners-up.

These selected candidates are then subject to an antecedent check conducted by our media partners who are required to confirm this in writing.

The District winner with the highest aggregate is announced as the State Winner and the individual scoring the second highest total is the State Runners-up.

All State Winners are then invited to bid for the National Awards by submitting a fresh award form.

A panel of judges scrutinize this form and, interview the candidates, for selecting the national award winners and runners-up.

The marks awarded by this panel which consists of three to five individuals are then interpolated on a especially constructed matrix to determine the national award winners.

Note:
Judges are nominated by Air India and our media partners.
The judges are eminent personalities, officers from the cadre, social activists, representatives of associations such as chambers of commerce, service clubs, officers from the police, paramilitary and armed forces, journalists, individual from the professions such as the legal and accounting fraternity.

The state award functions are preside over by Governors of States, University Vice Chancellors, Chief Justices and very eminent personalities of our Diaspora.

The last date for submitting your forms is June 30.
Forms that are incomplete will be rejected.
The decisions of the judges is final.

The judging is in five parts followed by three steps.
One, forms are scrutinized for completeness.

Two, complete forms are submitted to a panel of judges for their evaluation and marking.
Three, the top five scorers from a district are invited for a face-to-face interview with another panel of judges. All travel and stay arrangements will need to be made by the candidates and individuals will have to bear these costs.
Four, the top scorer is declared the District Winner and the second highest scorer is the District runners-up.
Five, the District Winner with the highest marks is the State Winner and the second highest marks is the state Runners-up.
Six, the State Winners are eligible to bid for the National Awards.
Seven, a fresh bid form has to be submitted for the National Awards.
Eight, National Award winners are decided after the bid forms are judged and individuals interviewed.
